Starting Over--February 28, 2011

Starting over is hard to do
Back to the beginning again,
One wrong turn is devastating
Straight to jail and do not pass go.
Working twice as hard to begin
Striving to make it on my feet,
Knock me down and I'll rise again
Failure is only when I quit.

Relationships

Relationships aren't like putting your hand on a hot burner. The outcome won't be the same and won't be predictable. If you keep picking lemons out of the barrel, you eventually won't want to stick your hand into the barrel.

Broken Heart

You have to trust others, or it becomes a lonely world. Protecting your heart doesn't save it. If you don't expose your heart to being broken, your heart will break anyway.
